Description

What Problem This Part Solves

If the rear rotisserie burner or compatible side burner will not spark, the problem may be a damaged or deteriorated ignition wire rather than the burner itself.

Heat, grease, moisture, corrosion, damaged connectors, or physical wear can prevent the original ignition lead from properly transmitting the electrical pulse from the igniter to the electrode.

Replacing a failed lead with the Napoleon N750-0040 restores the factory electrical connection between compatible ignition components.

FAQ Section

Does this fit my grill?
N750-0040 is used on numerous Prestige PRO and Built-In Prestige PRO grills, including select PRO500, PRO665, PRO825, BIPRO665 and BIPRO825 models. Confirm your complete model number before ordering.

How long is the N750-0040 ignition wire?
It is a 45-inch lead. Napoleon's official description is “WIRE, REAR/SIDE BURNER 45" LEAD PRO.”

Is N750-0040 the actual rear burner?
No. This is the ignition wire, not the burner. For example, on the BIPRO665-3 Napoleon separately lists N100-0045 as the stainless steel rear burner, N240-0034 as the rear burner electrode, and N750-0040 as the ignition wire.

Can this wire be used for the side burner?
Yes, on compatible applications. Napoleon's current OEM description specifically calls N750-0040 a rear/side burner 45" lead, indicating it is used in either application depending on the grill configuration.

What are common symptoms of a bad ignition wire?
A damaged wire can result in no spark or intermittent spark at the burner electrode. Before replacing it, inspect the electrode and igniter connections as well, since those components can cause similar ignition problems.
