Big Green Egg 115447 XL Composite EGG Mates – Folding Side Shelves

What Problem This Product Solves

Cooking on an XLarge Big Green Egg provides generous grilling capacity, but having sufficient preparation space nearby is equally important.

Without side shelves, grill owners may need separate tables to hold plates, utensils, seasonings, sauces, and ingredients.

The Big Green Egg 115447 Composite EGG Mates solve this problem by adding two convenient folding preparation surfaces directly beside the XLarge EGG.

Their three-slat design provides useful working space for organizing grilling accessories and preparing food before it reaches the cooking grate.

Unlike traditional wooden shelves that may require periodic refinishing, the composite construction is designed to withstand outdoor conditions while resisting moisture-related deterioration, fading, and splintering.

The textured surface provides a practical place for everyday grilling accessories, while the wood-grain appearance complements the classic Big Green Egg design.

When grilling is complete, both shelves fold downward, reducing the space required around the EGG during storage.
