Big Green Egg 115430 Large EGG 3-Slat Composite Folding Side Shelves

What Problem This Product Solves

Cooking on a Big Green Egg often requires additional space for food preparation, seasonings, grilling tools, plates, and serving accessories.

Without side shelves, grill owners may need to rely on separate tables or repeatedly move between the grill and an outdoor kitchen counter.

The Big Green Egg 115430 Composite EGG Mates provide a convenient solution by adding two folding preparation surfaces directly beside the Large EGG.

Their oversized three-slat design provides more working area than smaller two-slat alternatives, making it easier to keep frequently used grilling accessories within reach.

Unlike traditional wooden shelves that may require periodic refinishing, the composite material is engineered to withstand outdoor weather conditions while resisting fading, rot, splintering, and discoloration.

The non-slip textured surface provides additional grip for everyday grilling accessories, while the subtle wood-grain appearance complements the classic Big Green Egg design.

When grilling is complete, both shelves fold downward to reduce the amount of space required around the grill.

Are both side shelves included?

Yes. The Big Green Egg 115430 includes a complete set of two three-slat composite side shelves, one for the left side and one for the right side, along with mounting hardware.

What are the composite EGG Mates made of?

The shelves are manufactured from durable, weather-resistant composite material with a non-slip textured surface and subtle wood-grain detailing. They are designed to resist fading, rot, scratching, splintering, and other common forms of outdoor wear.

Do the Big Green Egg 115430 side shelves fold down?

Yes. Both shelves feature a folding design that allows them to lower when not in use, helping reduce the grill's overall footprint during storage.
