Cooking Grates, Cast Iron, Weber® Spirit® 210 & more, old # 7522 and 7523 , now 65934. and 75

These Weber® Porcelain-Enameled Cast Iron Cooking Grates are an upgrade for your Spirit® E-210 or Genesis® Silver A which comes with porcelain-enameled stamped steel cooking grates. (The Genesis® E-3xx and Summit E-xxx grills come with porcelain-enameled cast iron grates.) These grates should also fit the older Spirit® 500 grill. Porcelain-enameling makes the grates easier to clean and prevents rusting. When you clean porcelain-enameled coated grates, use a Weber® brush or a brass brush. Some brushes may scratch through the porcelain to the metal which will cause premature rusting. (Stainless steel grates do not have this problem.) See the related items for brushes, stainless grates, cast iron grates, flavorizer bars and other models. Weber® has said that the cast iron grates are expected to last 5 years. The original porcelain-enameled stamped steel grates are expected to last 3-5 years. Plus, when you get the cast iron grates hot, they make excellent sear marks because they hold the heat much better than the stamped steel grates. Set of 2. Each grate is 15 x 11.375 (11 3/8) inches (38 x 29cm). 82009 is Weber® #7522. The Spirit® E-210 and Genesis® Silver A are both 2-burner units (they have two control knobs). The porcelain stamped steel unit is shown.
