Cooking with a rotisserie allows food to continuously self-baste while turning, which keeps the food moist and adds flavor.

This premium quality rotisserie includes a heavy-duty CSA & UL approved motor with an on/off switch and plenty of power for the heaviest of foods.

Other features included:
  • a heavy chrome-plated spit with extension bushing to fit 52,000 & 56,000 BTU grills.
  • four pronged spit forks with thumbscrews for easy setting,
  • a spit balancer to ensure smooth turning and reduced motor wear
  • 120V Electric Rotisserie motor
    The electric motor includes a special feature that should the spit stop turning in one direction, it will automatically reverse itself and will resume turning in the opposite direction.

    The #50512 rotisserie rod is 32.25 inches long (tip to handle). The motor uses 1.5 inches of the end of the spit. It should fit grills with bottom castings (the distance between the outsides of the cook-box rotisserie notches) 29 inches or less. The bracket that holds the motor has holes for grills with holes 2" and 1.25" apart (fits two sizes). (The bracket is 3" wide and you may be able to drill holes that match your grill's rotisserie bracket holes.)

    You may be able to extend the spit at the handle end with a 3/8 inch, 16TPI (threads per inch) coupler nut and matching threaded rod or bolt of your choice, but going too long may make it wobbly as it turns.

    The manufactuer indicates that it will hold 11 US pounds.
